We are a church passionate about Jesus and loving people. You are welcome to come as you are and worship with us. We strive to create a welcoming environment. We want you to come and have a life changing experience. We can’t wait to meet you.
Pastor Mark Eccher is the Lead Pastor of the Christian Church of Rockland. Ministering along side him is his wife, Mary Grace.
Every one that attends The Christian Church Of Rockland is connected together as a BIG family, we all support our brothers and sisters in Christ spiritually and emotionally.
We follow the Bible’s format of working together as a body, as Having Jesus Christ as Our Head.
“And Whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it, or one member be honored, all the members rejoice with it. Now You are the Body Of Christ, and the members in particular.” 2 Corinthians 12:26-27
To clarify, being the body of Christ is simply being His hands and Feet on Earth, We reach out the those in need in our community, schools, jobs and stores much like what Jesus did on Earth before He ascended to His Father In Heaven. We follow in the footsteps of His feet, by walking the way He walked, in Love and Peace with everyone, in spite of everything. We are His mouthpiece, to speak words of love and purity, also to speak forth the Gospel and Truth to The World as He Did as Well.
“So we have been sent to speak for Christ.”2 Corinthians 5:20
We also need one another in this body of Christ, because in our own body’s if we sprain our ankle, or stub our thumb, it affects how the rest of the body feels and operates. Much like when a fellow Brother or Sister is physically struggling ,financially in need, or emotionally in the valley, we feel their hurt and do our part to pray, and believe God in Faith for, that HE will Make A way!
We are Born – Again Believers in Jesus as the Bible Says:
“Therefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creation, the old is gone and the new has come.”2 Corinthians 5:17
We are also unified in Christ, that We can do the work that He called Us to Do
“My (Jesus) Prayer is not for them alone, I pray for them that will believe through their (His disciples) message…That they may be one as We are one: I in them and You In Me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the World Know that You (God) sent Me”John 17:20-23
